Invitation to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to take part in the environmental review of the Resolution Copper Project and Land Exchange Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) as a participating agency.

Several comments were received concerning the potential for a fog plume to generate above the East Plant Site from the hot, moist mine exhaust.

The purpose of this process memorandum (memo) is to provide a summary of existing, open-pit mines located throughout Arizona that were identified for consideration as a potential alternative location for disposing of tailings from the Resolution Copper Project.
