Gila conglomerate has been identified as the primary cover material for the proposed Skunk Camp tailings storage facility (TSF) at the Resolution Copper Project and Land Exchange. The goals of the tailings closure cover and associated reclamation include developing a stable and long-lasting landform with features that minimize and manage erosion, ponding, runoff, oxidation of tailings, and seepage from the TSF and with growth medium that supports a self-sustaining vegetation community.
