The purpose of this addendum is to update the process memorandum dated October 28, 2020, titled “Cumulative Effects Analysis Overview and Screening by Resource” (Newell et al 2020). The original process memo served to outline the methods and screening results used for the analysis of cumulative effects within the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) prepared for the Resolution Copper Project by disclosing:Approach for addressing past and present actions in the EIS.

This Biological Assessment (BA) discloses the effects that occurred or may have occurred from suppression related impacts to species and critical habitats listed or proposed for listing under the Endangered Species Act from the Carlota Fire.

The purpose of this investigation was to assess the Property and surrounding areas to identify the presence or potential presence of recognized environmental conditions (RECs) potentially resulting in environmental impacts to the Property.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for approximately 640 acres referred to as East Clear Creek. The property comprises the entirety of Section 9 in Township 14 North, Range 12 East relative to the Gila and Salt River Baseline and Meridian, in Coconino County, Arizona.

The Superior Allotment is located adjacent to the Town of Superior and extends on either side of Highway 60.

Resolution will implement best practice, proactive acid rock drainage (ARD) management strategies. The goal of these strategies will be to minimize ARD risks during operation and ensure that ARD is avoided after closure.

In June 2022, the Forest Service received a technical review of the January 2021 rescinded FEIS analysis of water resources, conducted by three water resource specialists with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). This review was requested as part of re-initiation of tribal consultation. The BLM reviewers reiterated the concern over the Cutter Basin and added that impacts to water quality could also drive regional water users to seek other supplies.

The PLANTS Database provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories.

This memorandum documents a review of the Action Alternatives contained in the 2025 Final EIS (FEIS) for the Resolution Copper Project and Land Exchange (Resolution) for consistency with the December 2023 Tonto National Forest Land Management Plan (forest plan).
