A number of tailings storage facility (TSF) designs are currently being assessed and will be included in the draft EIS (DEIS). This report presents Alternative 4 - Silver King Filtered.

This report represents a state-of-the-art synthesis of current knowledge of the ecology and hydrology of ephemeral (dry washes) and intermittent streams in the American Southwest.

This report consists of management’s representations concerning the finances of Maricopa County.

Since plants on Earth evolved under broad-spectrum solar radiation, anytime they are grown exclusively under electric lighting that does not contain all wavelengths in similar proportion to those in sunlight, plant appearance and size could be uniquely different.

Soil properties are measured or inferred from direct observations in the field or laboratory. Examples of soil properties are particle-size distribution, cation-exchange capacity, and salinity.

The purpose of this process memorandum is to describe additional supporting resource information in detail. The Air Quality section of Chapter 3 of the EIS includes brief summaries of the information contained in this process memorandum.

Table of location and parcel information for numerous properties in Gila County.

This paper compiles the available information on historic tailings dam failures with the purpose to establish simple correlations between tailings ponds geometric parameters (e.g., dam height, tailings volume) and the hydraulic characteristics of floods resulting from released tailings.

There is abundant geographic variation in both morphology and gene frequency in most species. The extent of geographic variation results from a balance of forces tending to produce local genetic differentiation and forces tending to produce genetic homogeneity.
