The purpose of this memorandum is to detail the steps taken between the DEIS and final EIS (FEIS) to further revaluate potential mitigations for the project, leading to the mitigation and monitoring measures included in the revised appendix J of the FEIS.

In response to USFS document titled "List of Potential Final EIS Changes Prior to Republication", which states: "Resolution Copper ownership of Gov't Springs and parcels in Dripping Springs Wash", please find copies of Resolution Copper special warranty deeds for the parcels collectively referred to as Government Springs.

This order withdraws 276 acres of National Forest System (NFS) lands located within the Tonto National Forest from location and entry under the U.S. mining laws, but not from leasing under the mineral and geothermal leasing laws, for a 20-year term, subject to valid existing rights.

The purpose of this process memorandum is to document the Potential future measures that have
now been removed from the FEIS.
