Scope 2 (Indirect) Greenhouse Gas Emissions from the Resolution Copper Project

This updated memo quantifies Resolution’s estimated Scope 2 (indirect) GHG emissions associated with Resolution’s annual electricity use and accounts for the following GHGs: CO2, methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). Additionally, this version provides a discussion and the estimated impact of Rio Tinto’s commitments on GHG emissions as well as a focus on Scope 2 emissions associated with electricity generation. This memo supersedes all previous versions, most recently, the Resolution GHG memo dated February 16, 2022.
