The existing Pinal County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) for at-risk communities in Pinal County was developed in 2009 in response to the Healthy Forests Restoration Act (HFRA) of 2003 and due to the proximity of these communities to landscape-scale fires.

The Plan reflects the vision of county residents and identifies goals and objectives for the attainments of open space, trails, and regional parks.

This report summarizes the public and agency scoping meetings, comments received during the scoping process, and issues that require further consideration in the development of alternatives and the environmental impact statement (EIS).
