The purpose of this addendum is to update the process memorandum dated October 28, 2020, titled “Cumulative Effects Analysis Overview and Screening by Resource.” The original process memo served to outline the methods and screening results used for the analysis of cumulative effects within the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) prepared for the Resolution Copper Project by disclosing:

The objective of this plan is to support the site-wide reclamation plan (Tetra Tech 2020) by providing the strategy and design for implementing closure measures for the Skunk Camp TSF.

It takes a lot of power to lift water. To appreciate how much, consider the following example.

Determination of threatened species status under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (Act), as amended, for the cactus ferruginous pygmy-owl (Glaucidium brasilianum cactorum), a bird subspecies found in Mexico, southern Arizona, and southern Texas.

Phase I consists of the hydrologic and geologic characterization of the study area. Also presented are the definition and quantification of groundwater recharge sources, pumpage, subsurface inflows and outflows, and recommendations to fill critical data deficiencies.

This technical memorandum presents the predictive results from the Resolution Copper (RC) groundwater flow model developed by WSP in support of the EIS for the Resolution Copper Mine plan and land exchange.

The goal of this Wildlife Management Plan would be to reduce the potential for wildlife injury and mortality at active mining facilities.

The Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) has developed and calibrated a groundwater flow model of the Phoenix Active Management Area (AMA). 

The process of updating the Pinal model geology was begun in 2007, and had not been addressed since Modeling Report No. 2 (Corkhill and Hill, 1990). The purpose of this provisional report is to document the data collection activities and findings of the hydrogeologic framework of the study area. This report will be finalized after the Pinal Active Management Area (AMA) Regional Groundwater Flow Model report which documents the update and recalibration of the groundwater flow model in Pinal County have been completed.
