This technical memorandum has been issued to correct for tailings seepage rates that were recently modified in the steady-state models for tailing storage facility (TSF) Alternatives 2 and 3 (M&A 2018) per the direction of the United States Forest Service and the groundwater working group.

The survey was designed to help answer questions about the depths to bedrock and character of the basin fill in support of a geotechnical feasibility study for the proposed TSF.
