This memorandum was written to document model construction and results of steady-state groundwater flow modeling (Model) of the proposed Near West Tailings Storage Facility (TSF).

The Working Group I contribution to the IPCC’s Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) considers new evidence of climate change based on many independent scientific analyses from observations of the climate system, paleoclimate archives, theoretical studies of climate processes and simulations using climate models.

A number of tailings storage facility (TSF) designs are currently being assessed and will be included in the draft EIS (DEIS). This report presents Alternative 6 - Skunk Camp.

The existing Pinal County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) for at-risk communities in Pinal County was developed in 2009 in response to the Healthy Forests Restoration Act (HFRA) of 2003 and due to the proximity of these communities to landscape-scale fires.

Gage description, history, and information for Whitlow Ranch Dam gage.

This report summarizes results of drilling, construction, and testing of hydrologic test wells DS16-01 through DS17-17, and piezometers DS17-18 and DS17-19 at the Near West Site. The wells were drilled to provide hydrogeologic characterization of the groundwater system in the vicinity of the proposed tailings storage facility currently planned by Resolution Copper northwest of Superior, Arizona. Results of the drilling program will be used as baseline information to support the development of the Resolution Copper Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

Objectives

This management plan describes a number of management steps that will prepare the property for transfer to the Department of the Interior, and establish a long-term conservation management approach for the 7B Ranch that will integrate general management objectives with other conservation properties along this stretch of the river.
