Bird surveys were conducted in the vicinity of RCM's holdings, near Superior, Arizona. This report provides an inventory of the birds observed as well as a discussion of results from the data collection efforts.

Surveys were conducted for Morafka's desert tortoise (Gopherus morafkai, formerly G. agassizii, Sonoran population) within the Far West property located near Florence Junction, Arizona.

Gila chub Gila intermedia was federally listed as endangered with critical habitat in 2005 (Federal Register 2005). Upper Mineral Creek, the watershed immediately upstream of the ASARCO Ray Mine Big Box Dam, was designated as critical habitat for Gila chub at the time of listing. According to Robinson (2008a), Gila chub were last documented in upper Mineral Creek in 2000. Subsequent surveys completed in 2002, 2006 and 2008 were not able to document the presence of Gila chub, and the species is considered extirpated from upper Mineral Creek (Robinson 2008a).

This letter report presents the results of the 2010 geotechnical testing program on scavenger and cleaner tailings. The results are also compared with the previous test programs in 2007 and 2009.

Research was carried out to improve acid rock drainage (ARD) prediction methodologies, focussing on resolving uncertainties in acid base accounting (ABA) methods.

Every two years, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is required by the federal Clean Water Act to conduct a comprehensive analysis of water quality data associated with Arizona’s surface waters to determine whether surface water quality standards are being attained and designated uses are being supported.

This report presents an analysis of the basin geometry and structure of the San Rafael basin in southeastern Arizona. In addition, a new methodology for inferring concealed lithology is presented and applied in the San Rafael basin.
