The paper presents a review of carbon footprints (CF) for Cu and Zn produced from primary and secondary raw materials by analyzing data taken from scientific literature and the Ecoinvent database.

The Audubon IBA bird survey data collection coordinated by the Tucson Audubon-IBA Program, Avian Science Initiative, at 7B Ranch provided key "mesquite bosque avian habitat" data for these reviews.

Across the country, regional haze has decreased the visual range from 140 miles to 35-90 miles in the West, and from 90 miles to 15 -25 miles in the East. Regional haze is air pollution that is transported long distances, causing reduced visibility in national parks and wilderness areas.
