Resolution Copper plans to use sodium isopropyl xanthate (SIPX; C4H7OS2Na) as a collector agent for sulfide mineral processing. The purpose of this technical memorandum is to provide a summary of the use, properties, decomposition kinetics, and decomposition products for SIPX. This information is used to evaluate the environmental fate and transport characteristics of SIPX relevant to the tailings storage facility (TSF) for the Resolution Copper Project.

COVER ONLY

Artificial lighting typically accompanies a host of environmental disturbances. Isolating the effects of outdoor lighting on moth populations would be achieved best with studies that systematically vary exposure of habitats to artificial lighting.

This report summarizes the results of geomechanical studies of cave growth and subsidence potential performed by Itasca Consulting Group, Inc. (Itasca) for Resolution Copper Mining, LLC (Resolution Copper).

See 2018 Addendum.

This technical memorandum has been issued to correct for tailings seepage rates that were recently modified in the steady-state models for tailing storage facility (TSF) Alternatives 2 and 3 (M&A 2018) per the direction of the United States Forest Service and the groundwater working group.

The survey was designed to help answer questions about the depths to bedrock and character of the basin fill in support of a geotechnical feasibility study for the proposed TSF.

A number of tailings storage facility (TSF) designs are currently being assessed and will be included in the draft EIS (DEIS). This report presents Alternative 3B - Near West Modified Proposed Action.
